General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern reservations offered by Dar Malika Fès, located at 22 Rue Ferrane Couicha, Cherablyene, Fès Médina 30000, Morocco. Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS. 

2. Reservations

Reservations may be made:

• Directly through the Dar Malika Fès website;

• By telephone;

• By email;

• Or through our booking partners (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, or any other platform).

A reservation is considered confirmed once approved by Dar Malika Fès and, where applicable, upon receipt of the required deposit. 

3. Rates

Rates are expressed in Euros unless otherwise stated. They include the services specified at the time of booking.

Tourist tax, where applicable, is indicated separately in accordance with current regulations. 

4. Payment

Payment may be made by:

• Credit card;

• Bank transfer;

• Cash (within legal limits);

• Or any other method accepted by Dar Malika Fès.

Payment may be required in full or in part at the time of booking. 

5. Modification or Cancellation

Guests may request a modification or cancellation of their reservation.

The applicable conditions are those specified at the time of booking (flexible or non-refundable rate).

For reservations made through a partner platform, that platform’s cancellation policy shall apply. 

6. Check-in and Check-out

Unless otherwise agreed:

• Check-in: from 3:00 PM

• Check-out: before 11:00 AM

Different times may be accepted subject to availability. 

7. Room Occupancy

The maximum number of guests allowed in each room is the number indicated at the time of booking.

Any additional guest must receive prior approval. 

8. Respect for the Property

Guests agree to respect the premises, furnishings, and the peace and comfort of other occupants.

Any damage caused intentionally or through negligence may be charged to the guest. 

9. Liability

Dar Malika Fès makes every effort to ensure a pleasant stay.

The establishment shall not be held liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings;

• Service interruptions beyond its control (water, electricity, internet, force majeure);

• Unforeseeable or exceptional events. 

10. Pets

Pets are not allowed unless prior authorization has been granted by management. 

11. Non-Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited inside guest rooms and indoor common areas.

Designated outdoor smoking areas may be used while respecting other guests. 

12. Personal Data Protection

Information collected during the reservation process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 

13. Applicable Law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Moroccan law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable resolution before initiating legal proceedings.

Failing such agreement, the competent courts of Fès shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal provisions. 

14. Amendments to the GTCS

Dar Malika Fès reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time.

The new terms shall become applicable upon publication on the website. 

15. Compliance with Moroccan Regulations

In accordance with applicable Moroccan regulations, guests are required to comply with all laws and regulations during their stay.

Upon request by the establishment, a valid form of identification must be presented at check-in.

When a Moroccan national stays with another person, Dar Malika Fès may request any supporting documents required under Moroccan law. If the applicable legal requirements cannot be met, the establishment reserves the right to refuse accommodation without incurring liability.
